Roles & Responsibilities·

• Supervise subordinate personnel in work site and in the proper methods and techniques of planting ornamental plants.
• Train ground personnel in the techniques of pruning, wound dressing, cavity repair and the cabling and bracing of trees and shrubs.
• Prepare order for various types of plants and seeds.
• Conduct inventory, map and label trees and shrubs on work site for instructional and maintenance purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of maintenance programs for the control of plant diseases and insects.
• Prepare fertilizer programs for various types of plants.
• Confer with landscape architect and other personnel in the selection of plants
