Summary

The Host ensures the smooth running of the greeting process in Madison’s and its outlets. This includes set-up for service, greeting guests, ensuring an effective seating process and great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are properly set prior to seating guests
• Maintain seating chart on the reservations system
• Ensure table revenue is maximized
• Greet and seat properly and issue menus according to company standard
• Answer phones and take reservations, always following the correct procedures
• Ensure room service ordering procedures are maintained and accurate
• Organize and maintain a clean, presentable greeting podium
• Ensure menus are clean and prepared before every shift
• Be familiar with the hotel facilities, hours of operation and outlet locations
• Have attention to detail to ensure the restaurant and host area look inviting for our guests
• Due to the nature of this position, confidentiality is always required
