Grand Hyatt at SFO is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation.

The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming and well-maintained guest environment, works efficiently in a fast-paced hotel setting, and understands the importance of consistency, discretion, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards and procedures.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish towels, and restock guest amenities and supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and clean bathroom and sleeping areas thoroughly.
• Remove trash and ensure rooms are free of debris, odors, and clutter.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, missing items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and equipment in an organized and sanitary manner.
• Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Communicate guest requests, room status, and service issues to housekeeping leadership.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Follow all hotel, safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Support deep cleaning, room inspections, special projects, and other housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and other hotel departments to support guest satisfaction.

This is an hourly position with a compensation of $29.78 per hour.
