Housekeeping

Summary: Keeps public premises of transit areas in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Performs general cleaning and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned areas.
• Wipes and dusts surfaces.
• Sweeps, mops, and Vacuums floors. Shampoos rugs.
• Power washes station floors and walls.
• Stock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in bathrooms.
• Picks up and empties trash containers.
• Notifies maintenance if something is not working properly or is in disrepair.
• Cleans and disinfects bathrooms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
