HR Generalist I - Hybrid
Position: Human Resources Generalist
Location: Golden Valley, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday typical daytime business hours. Eligible to work from home up to 2 days per week after 90 days of employment.
Wage: $24.96 per hour including Full-Time benefits
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Generalist serves as a consultative partner and supports the execution of business objectives, utilizing human resource processes, and tools.
Essential Job Duties:
Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers, regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related questions.
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to employee inquiries in a timely, professional, and confidential manner.
Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, life event changes, eligibility verification, employee communications, and coordination with benefit vendors.
Process employment change transactions, including wage changes, status changes, leaves of absence, and terminations.
Maintain accurate employee records and data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Dayforce.
Audit employee data and HR transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Generate routine HR reports to supervisors.
Maintain personnel files and employment records in accordance with federal, state, and organizational record retention requirements.
Assist with HR projects, policy updates, employee communications, and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational information at all times.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Successful clearance of Department of Human Services background check
Successful clearance of Motor Vehicle Background Check and acceptable driving record per Company Policy
Preferred Qualifications:
Prefer 1+ years’ experience in a Generalist position, or similar position in scope and complexity.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other business-related fields
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills
The ability to stay organized and prioritizing multiple tasks without compromising quality or service
