Job Summary:

The HR Generalist will manage a broad range of functions across the employee lifecycle — including onboarding, engagement, performance management, and compliance. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and brings genuine energy to the employee experience. The ideal candidate is a natural people person: approachable, empathetic, and passionate about building a culture people want to be part of.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring timely completion of documentation and smooth integration into the organization

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems (e.g., Rippling), ensuring data integrity and compliance

  • Administer payroll inputs, benefits, and leave management, coordinating with insurance brokers and ensuring accuracy

  • Champion employee engagement initiatives — milestone recognition, wellness activities, and team events — bringing high energy and genuine enthusiasm to foster a positive workplace culture

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries and grievances, providing empathetic, timely resolution and support

  • Act as a true culture champion — someone employees naturally gravitate toward, who promotes organizational values, inclusion, and a collaborative environment

  • Coordinate performance appraisal cycles, feedback processes, and employee engagement surveys to support continuous improvement

  • Assist in training and development initiatives, including scheduling, logistics, and tracking participation

  • Manage exit processes, including conducting exit interviews, preparing documentation, and ensuring smooth full-and-final settlements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR / Business Administration (MBA in HR preferred)

  • 3+ years of HR generalist / HR operations experience, ideally including time at a startup or high-growth company

  • Knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR compliance

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — a genuine "people person" who builds trust easily and connects well across all levels of the organization

  • High energy, empathetic, and approachable, with a natural ability to make employees feel heard and supported

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity

  • Ability to work from Noida office 2–3 times per week

Preferred Attributes:

  • Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced, high-growth environment (strongly preferred)

  • Track record of building or driving employee engagement programs from the ground up

  • Hands-on experience with HR software (Rippling)

  • Certification in HR (SHRM, NIPM, etc.)
