HR Specialist
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning, job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, offer coordination, and onboarding.
- Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports related to staffing, turnover, recruitment, compliance, and employee trends for leadership review.
- Administer and maintain HRIS systems, employee records, and reporting functions with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate benefits administration processes including enrollments, qualifying life events, employee education, and vendor coordination.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies, including leave administration and workplace regulations.
- Coordinate and support performance review processes, employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
- Assist with special HR projects, audits, and organizational initiatives across multiple departments or locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 4–6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in an HR Coordinator or Associates capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee customer service.
- Experience supporting recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (preferably UKG) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), onboarding platforms, and HR analytics/reporting.
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or multi-site environments preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
