HR Coordinator

What You'll Do

Employee Lifecycle Support

  • Coordinate onboarding activities and track completion of new hire requirements.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Support employee changes including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and status updates.
  • Assist with terminations, offboarding activities, and separation documentation.
  • Monitor onboarding and exit interview completion and reporting.

HR Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with HR reports and workforce analytics.
  • Review employee timecards and identify discrepancies for supervisor follow-up.
  • Support HR audits, reporting, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Assist with HR process improvements and documentation.

Employee Engagement & Communication

  • Coordinate employee recognition and service award programs.
  • Support company events and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain employee communications across facility communication boards and screens.
  • Assist with workforce communications and employee feedback programs.

Site HR Support

  • Facilitate new hire orientation sessions.
  • Assist employees with HR forms, payroll inquiries, benefits questions, and UKG self-service support.
  • Support supervisors and managers with routine HR processes.
  • Coordinate employee programs such as work boot vouchers and other HR initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of HR, payroll support, benefits administration, office administration, or related experience.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably UKG.
  • Familiarity with employee records management, and HR processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Additional Information

  • Primary work location is Blair, WI or Sumner, WI.
  • Occasional travel to other Wisconsin locations may be required.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
  • Position works primarily in an office environment located within a frac sand production facility.
