HR Transformation Project Manager
We are seeking a Transformation Manager to join our team and work with one of our clients in Perth. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar position and have been responsible for IT Transformation programs, specifically across HR / P&C.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage end-to-end transformation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring of progress.
- Coordinate and maintain integrated plans across scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communications, change, risk, dependencies, governance and stakeholder management to ensure seamless project operations.
- Support alignment of resources with project priorities through proactive planning and direction, while ensuring timely delivery of requirements.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
- Define, track, and report on project benefits and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Monitor vendor deliverables, service levels, and contractual obligations to ensure high‑quality delivery, if required.
- Work collaboratively with change managers to incorporate change impact assessments, readiness planning, and adoption strategies into project plans.
- Ensure project artefacts meet required governance standards.
- Promote consistency and compliance in transformation program and project delivery.
- Recognise and act upon opportunities and initiatives to enhance transformation program and project delivery, through the development of effective working relationships with business, IT, architecture, finance, security and external partners.
- Ensures that the organisational framework, methodology, processes and operations are effectively applied and providing sound governance, portfolio management and project delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in senior IT leadership roles, including at least one significant IT transformation or operating model redesign.
- Strong capability across IT strategy, governance, and project delivery
- Proven ability to translate strategic intent into practical, executable plans in complex or resource-constrained environments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills — able to build trust quickly with executive leadership, business units, and technical staff.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present technology matters clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Track record of establishing benefits realisation for P&C initiatives that stand up to executive and Board scrutiny.
- PRINCE2, MSP, PMP or equivalent, with Agile delivery experience
- Change management accreditation (Prosci or equivalent) desirable.
It is a condition of this role that you have / undertake Police Clearance.
