SUMMARY
Provide system support, evaluation and analysis in order to meet the needs of the HR department. This position will serve as the primary contact for users of SuccessFactors and PeopleSoft. This position will perform, analyze and report on HR metrics on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing, of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree in (preferably) Information Systems, Business Administration or Human Resources Management. Without a degree, 5 years experience HRIS/Applications. (Required)
EXPERIENCE
- 8 Years + professional experience in Human Resources field (Employment, Benefits, Employee Relations and/or Compensation). This exp should include
6 yrs direct HRIS experience as an Analyst Coordinator or Spec. (Required)
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
- Professional in Human Resources (Preferred)
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP AND TRAINING- HRIS ANALYST:
Provide team leadership and training.
Mange projects/process improvement, including the following tasks: apply change mgmt., experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
Monitors HR/customer needs and create efficiencies that will enhance customer service.
Provide team leadership and manage projects/process improvement, including the following tasks: apply change management experience to facilitate movement to new levels of quality.
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.
HRIS ANALYST:
Identifies and understand HRIS issues, problems and opportunities.
Compares data from different sources to draw conclusions.
Uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develops appropriate solutions. .
Takes action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences. Uses this data to build project plans and ensure adherence to schedule and other specifications.
Recommends process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved to appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
Understands and uses qualitative/quantitative measurement and data collection design principles.
HRIS SYSTEM MAINTENANCE:
Performs system maintenance, including the following tasks: assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
Collaborates with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
Maintains HRIS system tables
Documents process and results
Provides HRIS production support, including but not limited to: researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performs scheduled activities; recommends solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Accept ERO position as needed.
Accept outage position as needed.
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees/management.. Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments at the same time.
Personal computer skills and experience with word processing and database software.
Ability to analyze, interpret and present data in reports and charts. Sensitivity to emerging issues, both internal and external, which may impact the company.
Ability to write clear and concise reports and correspondence. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments at the same time. Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure. Ability to comprehend and communicate company goals and objectives, org struc, policies, procedures, practices, guidelines and laws.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Overtime and alternate work schedules as needed.
Subject to callouts twenty-four hours per day seven days per week.
Normal office environment. Some visits into the plant.
Some work is stressful, and involves working with people in strained situations.
Travel may be required.
May be required to carry pager/phone.
