Human Resources Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join a leading international law firm in Dubai. This role sits within the regional People team and will support HR operations across multiple Middle East offices, working closely with the HR Manager and wider HR team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day HR support across the full employee lifecycle in a structured, fast-paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide operational HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation 2. Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, and personnel files, ensuring compliance and data integrity 3. Act as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, escalating where appropriate 4. Support payroll processes, including coordination of HR data, changes, and monthly submissions 5. Assist with HR reporting, headcount tracking, and audit requirements 6. Coordinate onboarding processes, including visa support, relocations, inductions, and new joiner experience 7. Manage probation tracking and support performance review processes 8. Support offboarding processes, including exit documentation and employee transitions 9. Assist with absence tracking and leave management, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance 10. Provide support across recruitment activities, including early careers, internships, and the coordination of hiring processes 11. Support HR projects, initiatives, and annual processes, including performance, compensation, and engagement activities 12. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with wider business support teams
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 2. 3–5 years of HR experience within the UAE, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment 3. Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle processes 4. Experience supporting onboarding, payroll coordination, HR reporting, and employee documentation 5. Familiarity with UAE labour law and visa processes 6. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 8. High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information 9.
