Overview
The core mission of the Human Resources Business Partner is to champion:
- Team member culture, engagement, and relations;
- Manage the team member employment files;
- Talent acquisition – attracting and retaining the best;
- Streamline HR processes in the field and assist in training;
- Positively influence culture and team member experience and retention metrics; and
- Manage HR compliance risk and ensure regulation compliance.
Responsibilities
- Cultivates and maintains healthy partner relationships with internal business partners.
- Collaborates with HR team and business leaders to analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Partners with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Manages the day-to-day administrative HR functions in the warehouse.
- Proactively recruits for open positions and maintains an active pool of qualified candidates to facilitate quick growth. Maintains ongoing relationships with employment agencies.
- Continuously improves onboarding processes to create a one-of-a-kind experience for our team members.
- Partners with our team members to make our culture come to life through employee engagement initiatives and programs.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of HR experience and/or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Understanding of HR policies, procedures, best practices, and current regulations and advising on such autonomously.
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized with strong ability to multitask.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience with UKG is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
Shift(s): Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with a few holiday expectations as dictated by the needs of the business
