Human Resources Coordinator
Summary
Coordinates full-cycle HR tasks for a health-focused NGO in Lucknow: recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Talent
Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Proactively manage the end-to-end recruitment
process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and
selection.
- Use social and professional networking sites to
identify and source a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
- Coordinate the preparation and sending of offer
packages and manage all post-joining formalities.
- Design and deliver a comprehensive orientation
program for new joiners to ensure they are integrated into CEL's culture and
processes.
- Maintain systematic documentation of the
recruitment process
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in
advance of need
- Research and recommend new sources for active
and passive candidate recruitment
- Manage personal files of staff and
consultants
3. HR
Operations & Compliance:
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including
attendance, leave management, and maintaining personal files.
- Support the preparation of the personnel budget in
consultation with the program team.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian labor
laws and support statutory audits.
- Prepare and collate HR reports for management
review.
4. Employee
Engagement & Relations:
- Be a point of contact for employees, inspiring
confidence with a calm and mature personality.
- Support and drive employee engagement activities to
foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Manage the exit process, including conducting exit
interviews, ensuring smooth full and final settlements, and analyzing
attrition trends.
Requirements
Qualifications
& Experience
- Education: MBA in Human Resources
(preferred)/ MSW or a postgraduate degree in a related field.
- Experience: Fresher/ Minimum of 1-3
years of progressive experience in HR Operations.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience
in the NGO, development, research, or health sectors.
- (Female Candidate preferred)
- Skills & Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor
laws and HR compliance frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in managing
end-to-end recruitment and training & development.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite,
especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong documentation and data
management skills.
- Ability to maintain strict
confidentiality.
- Fluency in English and Hindi
(spoken, reading & writing) is essential.
