Contract Details:
This is a full-time position, with a competitive salary and benefits package. The Human Resources Director will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Job Description:
The Human Resources Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions within the organization. This includes but is not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection of candidates
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Develop and implement performance management processes, including performance appraisals and employee development plans
- Conduct training and development programs for employees to enhance skills and promote career growth
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Oversee the maintenance of employee records and HR databases
- Develop and manage HR budgets and forecasts
- Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on HR metrics and initiatives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in human resources management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in human resources, preferably in the healthcare or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software programs
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus
