JOB SUMMARY: Provides human resources expertise in talent acquisition, staffing, employment processes, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and employee development, records management, safety and health, employee relations and retention, compliance with changing laws and regulations, and policy development. Leads the reception and mailroom function and personnel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
- Manages recruiting and staffing logistics onsite and assists HR manager as needed.
- Assists with organizational planning and development as needed.
- Assists with policy development and documentation.
- Serves as the backup for the HR Assistant to assist all duties as needed.
- Assists with performance management and improvement systems as needed.
- Assists with employee performance reviews and evaluations as needed.
- Helps managers as needed with employee disciplinary actions and terminations. With ensuring the correct evaluation was taken by evaluating potential solutions, coaching and mentoring managers or employees, and ensuring the company is compliant with overall decision.
- Assists with Workers’ Compensation and claims as needed.
- Works with quality and management to develop training standards company wide. Maintains and manages employee training records.
- Gives input on changing state and federal laws or regulation to help ensure company is compliant with legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
- Assists with the maintenance and development of safety program.
- Coordinates and implements employee programs and activities as needed.
- Helps to manages the front desk and ensures customers, employees, and guests have a positive experience.
- Performs other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties.
