WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted partner to employees and leaders by providing support across a broad range of human resource functions. This role is responsible primarily for employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and HR administration assistance. The HR Generalist helps create a positive employee experience while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, policies, and employment laws.

  • Serve as on-site HR resource for employees and managers.
  • Partner with leaders to address performance concerns and support corrective action process.
  • Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
  • Assists HR Manager with workplace investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Assists with performance management processes and employee development planning/tracking.
  • Assists with maintaining accurate data in the HRIS and/or employee personnel files.
  • Assists with HR audits, reporting requirements, and documentation management.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, pre-employment screenings, and attending job fairs.
  • Assists with company events and employee communication efforts.
  • Support employee recognition, wellness and engagement initiatives.
  • Support other functions of HR team as needed.

YOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience preferred; experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS system administration and reporting tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
