Human Resources (HR) Assistant - Korean/English Speaker
Job Description
Be responsible for all aspect of the HR operational tasks and employment life cycle.
Absence and leave management: administering employees’ leave and attendance.
Handle terminations: ensuring termination procedure is properly completed and submitting required documentation to payroll department in a timely manner.
Partner with the recruitment and relevant department to best coordinate employees’ onboarding.
Handle the processes for relocations and transfers including necessary visa applications, payroll transfers, etc.
Handle employee/manager’s queries relating to rewards issues including benefits, pay, bonus schemes, commissions in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
Have a good understanding and practical knowledge of Company processes and policies to advise employees and managers.
Ensure employee data are kept updated on the HRIS (e.g. Workday) and produces relevant reports.
Ensure changes to the employees’ profiles are properly reported and submitted to payroll.
Handle complex employee relations issues, ensuring procedures are properly followed and paperwork completed and filed, keeping the lines of communication open between managers and their employees.
Support the implementation and monitoring of performance evaluation programs.
Perform operational support to the HR Departments in different locations.
Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for your role and assigned by your manager/supervisor
Required skills & experience
Knowledge and understanding of employment law
Positive attitude, resiliency, and the ability to produce high quality and volume at a fast pace
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
Attention to detail, problem-solving competencies
Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience
Fluency in both Korean and English (written and verbal)
Prior experience of working with HRIS Software (Workday)
