The HVAC Drafter is responsible for preparing accurate and coordinated air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) drawings for construction projects. The role supports engineers and project teams by producing drawings, coordination drawings, and documentation compliance with project specifications, and other requirements.

Job Requirements:

πŸ’¬ Proficient in English language.

πŸŽ“ A Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or a related/equivalent field.

πŸ’Ό Minimum 5 years of relevant drafting experience in ACMV / HVAC, 5 years' experience in AutoCAD or Revit.

πŸ’» Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp or Revit is a plus.

🌬️ Understanding of ACMV systems such as AHU, FCU, VRF/VRV, Chilled Water Systems.

πŸ—οΈ Able to do 3D modelling using Revit software and detect clashes using Naviswork software.

πŸ“˜ Familiar with Singapore construction practices, standards, and codes (e.g. SS, CP, BCA requirements).

πŸ“ Ability to read and understand construction M&E drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

🧭 Prepare detail drawings, as-built drawings, plans and layouts based on specifications using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and completeness for submission.

✏️ Revise and update drawings in accordance with engineer’s instructions, site conditions, and comments by project team.

🧩 Identify and resolve clashes related to ducts, pipes, beams, ceilings, and other building services.

🀝 Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to understand design requirements, address queries, and coordinate drafting activities.

πŸ—‚οΈ Maintain organized project files and documentation.

🦺 Conduct site visits as required to verify site conditions and installation details.

βš™οΈ Perform other ad-hoc drafting assigned by the Project Management Team to support project needs.
