Hybrid Backend Software Engineer III (FinTech)

Satispay invites a Software Engineer III, Backend Developer in Italy to design and build scalable, high-quality payments systems. You will own the story lifecycle from intake to production release and contribute to technical excellence.

You will grow as a technical leader, estimate effort, resolve blockers, document features, and collaborate with stakeholders. The role supports hybrid work, with a strong focus on delivering a reliable backend experience.

Own the Story Lifecycle: Complete the entire story lifecycle from intake to production release. Contribute to Technical Excellence: Conduct technical analysis for standard scope stories and implement robust, scalable back-end solutions Grow Technical Leadership: Begin to provide guidance and mentorship for peers and juniors, while aligning with the roadmap Ensure Quality and Stability: Accurately estimate effort and resolve blockers; participate in incident resolution and RCA Document and Communicate: Create comprehensive technical documentation and collaborate with stakeholders At least 3 years of industry experience with Java and cloud platforms (AWS a plus). Strong teamwork, collaboration, and clear communication. User-centric mindset to deliver a great backend experience. Fluent English; passion for FinTech or startup environments.
