IBM DataPower Integration Designer (ocp)
Summary
Design and document IBM DataPower integration solutions (HLD/LLD), gather business requirements, and guide development teams through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend business and technical meetings to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Perform technical feasibility assessments and propose the optimal integration solution in alignment with the core team.
- Prepare High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents as per the defined standards.
- Design secure, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions using IBM DataPower.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business, architects, development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Requirements
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SOA, enterprise integration, and middleware concepts.
- Hands-on experience in designing IBM DataPower integration solutions.
- Strong knowledge of XML, XSD, WSDL, SOAP, REST APIs, and XSLT.
- Experience designing DataPower services such as Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy, and XML Firewall.
- Good understanding of security concepts including OAuth, SSL/TLS, AAA, and certificate management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the telecom domain is considered a plus.
- Exposure to IBM API Connect or other API Management platforms is an advantage.
