ICT Senior Systems Engineer (L3) - Wellington

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team in Wellington (Level 3)

In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting our managed services clients while also working on exciting infrastructure projects in the start-up of our growth orientated new Professional Services team. You’ll work with a wide range of technologies (especially Microsoft) to keep clients’ systems securely running at their best—solving problems, suggesting improvements, and bringing your technical insight to the table.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting and improving clients’ existing IT systems

  • Working across Microsoft technologies: Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Servers & Clients

  • Completing project work and infrastructure upgrades

  • Providing input and advice on best practices and long-term IT solutions

  • Collaborating with team members to deliver top-quality service

  • Staying on top of emerging technologies and tools

Technical Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar technical role

  • Solid knowledge of Security & Microsoft technologies: M365, Azure, Windows Servers, etc.

  • Bonus if you also know your way around: –

    • HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Symantec

    • Non-Microsoft Hypervisors (VMware, VME, AWS etc.)

    • WAN/Internet connections and networking

    • Remote management tools

Qualifications:

  • Degree or industry equivalent

  • Microsoft Certification (e.g. MS-102, MD-102, MS-900, SC-300 and AZ-104.)

  • Networking qualifications are a plus but not essential

You must be eligible to work and be based in New Zealand.
