We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with hands-on experience Automation applications to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Guidewire Insurance Suite implementations through rigorous testing and validation activities.

Job Position Title:

IN_ Senior Associate_ QA Engineer _One cloud_Advisory_Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and own a scalable, modular test automation framework with standardized coding practices, reusable components, and version-controlled repositories, enabling automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers, as applicable.
• Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies including functional, performance, regression and Security testing.
• Use of Selenium Automation Testing and Test frameworks like Rest Assured, playwright etc.
• Setup, execute & automate backend testing and raise defect reports.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g. Test Sigma, ChatGPT, Postman AI, Claude, Rest Assured) to accelerate test case generation, exploratory testing, and defect documentation of CMMI level.
• Implement the test automation strategy by developing scalable automation scripts, integrating them with deployment pipelines, and tracking automation coverage and results.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining internal error logs and provide support.
• Track, document, and report defects using bug tracking tools with clear traceability.
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using industry-standard tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues using monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Provide detailed analysis and reports on system performance, response time, and resource usage.
• Setup, execute & automate backend testing and raise defect reports.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, ensuring tests are triggered automatically on every code commit or build.
• Configure real-time alerting mechanisms to ensure that pipeline failures immediately notify relevant stakeholders with traceable, actionable test reports.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Leverage AI-powered testing tools (e.g. Test Sigma, ChatGPT, Postman AI, Claude, Rest Assured) to accelerate test case generation, exploratory testing, and defect documentation of CMMI level.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, ensuring tests are triggered automatically on every code commit or build.

Preferred skill sets:

• Configure real-time alerting mechanisms to ensure that pipeline failures immediately notify relevant stakeholders with traceable, actionable test reports.
