Information Technology Consultant (Business Analyst - AI Transformation)

Seeking Business Analysts with 6+ years of experience in Banking & Financial Services. Candidates should possess strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery skills, along with experience in Data, Analytics, or Digital Transformation programs. The role involves gathering requirements, facilitating business-technology collaboration, supporting UAT, and ensuring successful project delivery. Knowledge in AI initiatives is highly preferred.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and data requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria to support solution design and implementation.
• Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, requirements, and delivery expectations.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, requirements walkthroughs, and impact assessments across multiple business functions.
• Support Data, Analytics, and Digital Transformation initiatives by identifying business opportunities, process improvements, and data-driven solutions.
• Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring changes are assessed, documented, and communicated effectively.
• Partner with Agile delivery teams during sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and release activities.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test scenario creation, defect management, and business sign-off.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend optimization opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Ensure successful solution delivery by validating that implemented solutions meet business requirements, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst within Banking and Financial Services environments.
• Prior experience with Singapore Local Banks is strongly preferred, with a solid understanding of banking processes, systems, and governance frameworks.
• Strong domain expertise across retail banking, corporate banking, digital banking, payments, lending, risk, compliance, or related financial services functions.
• Hands-on experience delivering projects within Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Change Programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, gap analysis, and solution documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior business leaders, product owners, and technical teams.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments, including user story development and backlog management.
• Proficiency in conducting workshops, impact assessments, process mapping, and business case development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex business challenges into actionable requirements.
• Experience supporting end-to-end project delivery, including UAT planning, execution, and post-implementation validation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of banking data platforms, reporting, and analytics ecosystems.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, SQL, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Experience working on regulatory, compliance, digital channel, customer experience, or data modernization initiatives.
• Understanding of banking regulatory frameworks, risk management, and governance requirements.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA, Scrum, or equivalent are advantageous.
