Technical Business Analyst (Banking)
Summary
Bridges business and tech teams to define and deliver digital banking features, documenting requirements and integrating core banking platforms like Temenos T24 or Finacle.
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving requirements gathering, solution design, system integrations, and successful delivery of digital banking initiatives.
This role requires a strong understanding of core banking processes, banking platforms, APIs, data analysis, Agile delivery, and emerging AI tools used in business analysis and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to understand and document business requirements.
- Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
- Prepare and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Analyze and document current and future-state business processes.
- Work closely with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
- Support API integrations, system interfaces, and data mapping activities.
- Perform data validation and analysis using SQL.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirements clarification.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and production implementation activities.
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to manage expectations and facilitate decision-making.
- Leverage AI-powered productivity tools to improve requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, and reporting processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Business Analysis & Banking
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of Core Banking functions, including: CASA (Current & Savings Accounts)Deposits Loans & Lending Payments Customer Onboarding
- Expertise in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Experience creating BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Experience working with Core Banking Platforms such as: Temenos T24FinacleOracle FLEXCUBE Or similar platforms
- Understanding of APIs, web services, integrations, and system interfaces.
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
- Hands-on involvement in UAT planning, execution, and support.
