Information Technology Specialist (System Administrator)

If selected, you'll serve as a Systems Administrator Level I within the Office of Information Resources Management (IRM), performing a variety of duties involving the support and administration of the agency's Microsoft cloud and enterprise computing environment. This work involves configuration and maintenance of Microsoft O365 services, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Azure cloud services, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender under the guidance of senior engineer and cloud administrators

The duties may include, but are not limited to:

Serves as System Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of MSPB’s IT systems and peripherals.

Assist with user provisioning, licensing, and service configuration.

Troubleshoot user access, authentication, mailbox, and collaboration platform issues.

Monitor service health and assist in implementing recommended improvements.

Coordinate helpdesk operations including the remediation of system-identified cyber security alerts and known vulnerabilities.

Assists in implementing network, administration, and software system configuration changes or new equipment installation as necessary.
