Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead strategic Messaging and Microsoft 365 Modernization initiatives within a global banking environment. The successful candidate will support the transformation of legacy messaging platforms, including work with IBM Domino in a transition phase, while enabling modern collaboration capabilities through Azure, Microsoft Entra B2B Collaboration, and Cross-Tenant Synchronization.

This role combines project leadership with strong technical expertise in enterprise messaging, email infrastructure, identity collaboration, and Microsoft 365 services. The candidate will work closely with regional offices, branch stakeholders, Head Office teams, security, compliance, and operations teams to deliver complex transformation projects in accordance with internal banking governance, risk, and change management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead infrastructure and messaging transformation projects from initiation through closure.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, status reports, and executive updates.

• Coordinate project activities across APAC, EMEA, AMER regions, branch offices, and Head Office teams.

• Manage project governance, steering committee updates, stakeholder communications, and risk management activities.

• Facilitate business and technical workshops to gather requirements and align deployment strategies.

• Coordinate testing activities including SIT, UAT, pilot rollouts, production deployment, and post-implementation reviews.

• Ensure all project deliverables comply with internal banking standards, change management procedures, information security requirements, and operational governance processes.

• Drive issue resolution across multiple technology teams and vendors.

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation procedures, test plans, support transition documents, and operational runbooks.

Technical Leadership

Domino Decommissioning & Messaging Transformation

• Support Head Office IBM Domino/Lotus Notes decommissioning initiatives.

• Assess and rationalize legacy mail applications, workflows, and messaging dependencies.

• Coordinate migration of mail routing, and processes to modern messaging platforms.

• Identify and manage risks associated with coexistence, mail routing, and service transition.

Microsoft 365 & Identity Services

• Manage Microsoft 365 transition and tenant integration initiatives.

• Lead Cross-Tenant Synchronization implementations and governance.

• Manage Microsoft Entra B2B collaboration and user lifecycle processes.

• Coordinate identity integration, federation, synchronization, and authentication initiatives.

• Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure proper access governance and controls.

Enterprise Messaging Infrastructure

• Manage enterprise email infrastructure projects involving:

o Microsoft Exchange Online

o SMTP relay platforms

o Email gateways

o Mail routing and transport services

o Hybrid messaging environments

o Third-party mail systems

• Coordinate mail relay modernization and application integration activities.

• Support troubleshooting and remediation of mail flow, authentication, and delivery issues.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure all project activities conform to banking regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks.

• Coordinate infrastructure changes through CAB, risk assessment, security review, and operational readiness processes.

• Work closely with Information Security, Compliance, Operations, and Architecture teams.

• Maintain audit-ready project records and implementation documentation.

• Ensure proper service transition into BAU support teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 8-10 years of IT project management experience in enterprise infrastructure environments.

• Minimum 5 years managing messaging, identity, or Microsoft 365 transformation projects.

• Proven experience leading IBM Domino/Lotus Notes decommissioning or migration initiatives.

• Strong understanding of:

o Microsoft Entra ID

o Cross-Tenant Synchronization

o Entra B2B Collaboration

o Exchange Online

o Enterprise Email Routing

o SMTP Relay Infrastructure

• Experience working in highly regulated environments such as banking, financial services, insurance, or government sectors.

• Strong stakeholder management experience involving multiple regions and global teams.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

• Microsoft certifications in:
