Shape the infrastructure behind global service delivery.

Our client, an established global IT services organisation, is looking for an Infrastructure Platform Architect to bring technical expertise, structured thinking and clear architectural direction to its enterprise infrastructure.

You’ll work with global specialists to connect infrastructure requirements, evaluate technology options and set a clear direction for how platforms are designed and developed.

What’s in it for you?

  • Global scope: Collaborate with infrastructure specialists and stakeholders across countries.

  • Architecture ownership: Influence platform modernisation, standards and future technology direction.

  • Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days in the office per week.

What you’ll work on

  • Design and standardise infrastructure across datacentre, private-cloud and public-cloud environments.

  • Bring compute, virtualisation, networking, storage, backup and recovery requirements together into practical architectures.

  • Help drive an ongoing move away from VMware, including the next phase of expansion across multiple datacentres.

  • Apply architecture frameworks and best practices to assess options, review designs and explain technical trade offs.

  • Contribute to the future infrastructure technology roadmap.

What you need to qualify

  • Typically 10–15 years of enterprise infrastructure experience, with ownership of architecture and design decisions.

  • Strong compute and virtualisation expertise, supported by broad knowledge of networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery and cloud environments.

  • Practical experience applying TOGAF or another recognised architecture framework.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain your reasoning and work effectively with global stakeholders.

  • Experience in large, complex environments and the ability to adapt to service-provider demands.

  • A proactive approach to investigating problems, taking ownership and learning.

Kubernetes or container platform knowledge and exposure to AI/GPU infrastructure would be advantageous.

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Local candidates will be prioritised.
