Inpatient RN Operating Room

Summary

An Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room provides direct patient care, coordinates surgical procedures, and collaborates with medical teams in a hospital setting, focusing on perioperative nursing and patient safety.

Work Schedule:

60% FTE, 6:30pm-7:00am Saturday & Sunday. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $4/ hr evening, $5 hr night, and $4.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Additional components of compensation may include: overtime and on-call pay

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
Work Experience
  • 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required
  • 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
  • Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
  • 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire. Preferred
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license issued by the individual’s state of residence. Upon Hire Required
