  • Evaluate raw materials, associated materials against clients standard, check order against items received.
  • May include evaluating factory capabilities as necessary.
  • Inspect products for defects and overall workmanship during in process, and or final stages, checking quality against reference sample or other client-approved standard/criteria.
  • Visual inspection and measurement of finished products against client standard/criteria.
  • Follows all required procedures established by company and client.
  • Represents company in professional and ethical manner.
  • Working with inspection coordinator, produce draft or final inspection report.
  • Communicate with site contact (verbal & written).

  • Must be knowledgeable in use of computer hardware and have skill level required to use software currently in use by department.
  • Adherence to all relevant UL environmental, health, and safety procedures and regulations, as well as any requirements from the client that may be applicable.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
  • Other job duties as needed.
  • Review and maintain a thorough understanding of inspection requirements to effectively carry out assigned daily inspections.
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with client’s procedures and standards.
  • Prepare and submit draft inspection reports on the day of inspection, as required.
  • Compile, finalize, and submit official inspection reports.
  • Support Service Specialists in addressing and resolving inspection-related issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
  • Adhere strictly to the Company Code of Ethics and all applicable policies and regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in professional area of specialization plus a minimum of 2-4 years demonstrated proficiency in quality-related area. Basic manufacturing experience, good knowledge about quality/inspection on Electrical and/or Electronic production and products.
  • Must gain proficiency in inspection procedures and random sampling principles before performing on-site inspections.
  • Must gain proficiency in documentation and procedures required by the company and clients relevant to this work area.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and familiar with reporting systems.
  • Must be open to travel.
  • Experience in inspection preferred.
