Integration Engineer / Middleware Developer (Remote - AU Client)
Summary
Integration Engineer building automated workflows and iPaaS integration recipes (Workato or similar) connecting enterprise platforms like Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and NetSuite via REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, and SQL. Remote Philippines-based role supporting an Australian client's automation initiatives.
Salary: ₱75,000 – ₱110,000 per month
2 to 4 years of experience in enterprise software integration, API development, or middleware engineering. Solid proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, JSON/XML payload mapping, and relational database queries. Hands-on experience with modern iPaaS or integration platforms (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Zapier, Make, or Oracle Integration Cloud). Prior Workato experience is a strong plus, but candidates with strong middleware/API backgrounds open to upskilling are highly welcome. Strong English communication skills for working with Australian stakeholders.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Integration Engineer to support an Australian client's growing automation initiatives. Because Workato is a modern, fast-growing platform, we aren’t looking for decade-long veterans rather, we want someone with a strong foundation in enterprise integration who is eager to build solutions on Workato.
What You Will Do
Design and build scalable integration recipes and automated workflows connecting enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, NetSuite, etc.).
Manage REST/SOAP API integrations, Webhooks, JSON/XML payload transformations, and relational database queries.
Monitor integration execution, troubleshoot error logs, and implement automated error-handling routines.
Work closely with Australian technical leads and business analysts to translate functional requirements into technical workflows.
What We Are Looking For
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in software integration, middleware development, or workflow automation.
Strong proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, Webhooks, and SQL.
Practical experience with any modern integration platform (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Zapier, Make, Oracle Integration Cloud, or Workato).
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for daily collaboration with Australian stakeholders.
