The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Principal Intelligence Analyst (PIA), providing professional and scientific expertise in performance of work requiring knowledge and application of engineering, mathematics, statistical analysis, and modeling/simulation.
DUTY 1 - Performs a broad range of analyses and/or engineering assignments entailing unique problems, creativity, innovative use of techniques, advance approaches and or new technology. DUTY 2 - Utilizes engineering/scientific experience to develop policy, guidance, and process initiatives when performing technical review of all reporting produced during the exploitation of a system. DUTY 3 - Represents NASIC and USAF in various Air Force, Department of War (DoW), Intelligence Community (IC) and industry conferences, committees, panels, working groups, and meetings. DUTY 4 - Maintains proficiency in software analysis skills, tools and techniques. Researches new software tools and technologies which enable and optimize software vulnerability discovery in foreign weapon systems.
