Key responsibilities
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party platforms
- Deploy, run and support solutions on AWS
- Take ownership of technical solutions from design through to production
- Apply clean code, testability and maintainability
- Contribute to architectural decisions and team engineering practices
- Deliver in Agile and keep improving how the team ships
Requirements
Skills and experience:
- Strong React experience, including components, state and front-end architecture
- Hands-on AWS experience, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS or IAM
- Solid API design, including REST, with GraphQL an advantage
- Asynchronous and event-driven programming
- Git, CI/CD and modern engineering practices
- Automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end
- React Native or other mobile experience is an advantage
- Microservices or BFF patterns, and Azure as a second cloud, are an advantage.
