Intermediate Full Stack Developer

Techion is seeking an intermediate full-stack developer to build and maintain software features using .NET, C#, Angular, and Azure. The role involves translating user stories into production-quality code, performing unit testing, and providing Tier 3 support for their livestock and health-tech solutions.

About the role
Techion's Full Stack Developer is responsible for converting approved work items, user stories and bug reports into production-quality code. The role focuses on hands-on development and delivery within Techion's architecture, coding standards, priorities and development processes.
Key responsibilities
Translates clearly defined work items, user stories, acceptance criteria and bug reports into working code
Develops new software features and enhancements in line with approved designs and technical direction
Investigates and implements fixes for defects in existing software
Writes and maintains unit tests and contributes to automated UI/UX testing, including Playwright where required
Documents developed code, technical changes, assumptions and work in progress
Provides clear progress updates and raises blockers, ambiguity or delivery risks promptly
Participates constructively in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and code reviews
Supports testing, release and deployment activities within the responsibilities assigned to the role
Provides Tier 3 software support by investigating, reproducing and documenting the root cause of software defects
Works collaboratively with developers and colleagues across the business to deliver agreed outcomes
About you
A minimum of four years' professional software development experience
A relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent professional experience
Demonstrated experience delivering reliable, production-quality code from defined requirements

Unit testing and automated testing practices
Git-based source control, code review and contemporary development workflows
