Abbeal is looking for an intermediate Java developer for a major Canadian bank in Montreal.
Context
The role sits between back-end development and data. You write Java services, and you also know how to check that the data they produce and consume is right: SQL queries, profiling, quality checks.
The role
- Build and evolve REST APIs and microservices in Java and Spring Boot
- Work on existing .NET / C# components
- Analyse, profile and validate data in relational databases
- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline (Maven, GitHub Actions, Harness)
- Work with business and data teams to make data flows reliable
Profile
- 3+ years of Java development
- Working knowledge of .NET / C#
- SQL, relational databases, data analysis and profiling
- Maven, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Harness)
- AWS is a plus
- French required

- Montreal, hybrid: 2 days a week on site
