Intermodal CDL-A Driver – Local Routes

Tuesday through Saturday, overnight, and back in your own bed every day. This local Class A CDL position in Harrisburg, PA moves intermodal freight in and out of the area’s rail yards, with 2-5 loads per shift. Pay is activity-based with plenty of add-ons, and the company reimburses your hazmat endorsement costs.

Schedule & Home Time

• Home daily.
• Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
• Overnight start times between 12:01 AM and 3:00 AM.
• Better shifts offered as they become available, based on seniority.
• Christmas off.
• Tractor stays at the terminal while you're off.

Routes & Freight

• Intermodal loads to and from Harrisburg, PA rail yards.
• 2–5 loads per shift.
• Priority loading and unloading at the yards.
• No NYC routes.

Equipment

• Manual and automatic trucks available.
• Average truck age: approximately 2 years.
• Slip seating.
• On-site management and full-service maintenance.

Endorsement Requirement

• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
• Able to drive manual or automatic trucks.
• Non-smoker.
• Willing to work overnight start times.
