Job Description

What you'll do

• Assist in building demos, prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions for AIoT and data analytics projects, related to government, public utility and infrastructure operation for Hong Kong's AI City Brain
• Support sensor integration, data collection, data processing and analytics activities, leveraging AI, CV, Generative AI and other statistical tools
• Conduct system testing, field trials and performance monitoring for smart infrastructure and IoT solutions
• Assist in technical documentation, data visualization and project implementation activities
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

You'll be a good fit if you have/are:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Knowledge of IoT, data analytics, programming or AI technologies would be an advantage
• Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of AI, or experience and ability to apply Generative AI tools in their work, will be preferred
• Good command of English and Chinese

Note:

1. Applicant may be considered for other positions if not matching the requirements of the subject position.

2. This is a position of internship programme of 6 months (from January 2027 to June 2027)

HKPC will take into consideration both the quantitative and qualitative requirements of the post when selecting the suitable candidates. A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
