Intern - Information Security Engineer

Our Technology team is seeking exceptional college students for our Summer Internship Program, which provides meaningful opportunities for personal and professional growth, as well as rewarding career path options.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• Serve as the first responder to any security related events and key to Hanover’s security posture

•Partner with departments across the enterprise to identify any current issues, recommend options for remediation, and work issues through to resolution
•Provide implementation support for various security applications, technologies, and products
•High level areas you could be assigned to include: policy, malware analysis, security engineering
•Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer

WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or advanced degree program
Cyber Security degree program strongly preferredAbility to commit to a full time 10 week internship programAbility to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the futureTechnical expertise in systems administration, security tools, combined with knowledge of security practices and procedures
Working knowledge of Python, Data Analytics & Correlation, Log Aggregation, software development, database management, IoT, AI
