Internal Sales Representative - Nelson (Aluminium)
Description
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Nelson, mostly internal sales support with hands-on warehouse duties. If you enjoy variety, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a team environment, this role is for you. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. No weekends.
What You Will Do
- Handle inbound customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person
- Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and confirm stock availability
- Build strong customer relationships through responsive internal sales support
- Respond to internal enquiries regarding stock availability and pricing (email and phone)
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately
- Receipt and process incoming stock
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stocktakes, and cycle counts
What You Will Bring
- Internal sales or customer service experience
- Warehousing, dispatch, or inventory control experience (an advantage)
- Fork hoist licence (an advantage)
- Intermediate computer literacy (ERP systems, Outlook, Excel)
- Physically fit to complete manual handling and warehouse tasks
- A valid work visa or the right to work in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
