About the Firm
We are a Singapore-based private investment office. Formed about adecade ago, we have a developed private equity program that invests directlyand through external managers. We invest across multi-asset strategies in bothpublic and private markets, including international real estate, seekingrisk-adjusted returns agnostic of asset class.
Role
We are seeking an Analyst to support our investment and operationsteams. This is a broad, entry-level role suited to someone who wants exposureto how a private investment office functions, from sourcing and diligencethrough to portfolio monitoring, deal documentation, and internal operations.The role touches most parts of the investment lifecycle rather than beingconfined to a single function.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis
- Support due diligence on prospective investments, including financial modeling, market sizing, and comparable analysis
- Prepare investment memos, summaries, and supporting materials for internal review
- Track portfolio company performance and assist with periodic reporting
Deal & Documentation Support
- Assist in reviewing term sheets, subscription documents, and other transaction materials, working alongside external counsel and internal stakeholders
- Help maintain organized records of deal terms, governance rights, and compliance obligations across the portfolio
- Support coordination between investment, legal, and operational workstreams during transaction execution
Market & Portfolio Monitoring
- Monitor industry, regulatory, and competitive developments relevant to the firm's investment themes, drawing on sources including news, filings, and social platforms
- Track portfolio companies' public communications and market positioning
- Appropriately use AI-assisted research and writing tools to synthesize information and support faster turnaround on internal materials;
Operations
- Support day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across the investment office
- Assist with the preparation of internal presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Take on ad hoc projects as they arise, reflecting the size and pace of a small investment team
What We Are Looking For
Must-haves:
- A genuine interest to learn about investing and financial markets
- Strong analytical mindset and sound judgement; the ability to connect dots and exercise common sense in ambiguous situations
- Intellectual curiosity and the drive to go beyond the surface - we want people who ask good questions and are not satisfied with shallow answers
- Eagerness to learn and grow continuously, whether through live deals, research, or self-directed study
- Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal - you must be able to articulate your thinking
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in a small, lean, and fast-moving team
- A working knowledge of financial statements and basic valuation concepts - formally studied or self-taught
- Financial modelling experience or a demonstrable willingness to develop the skill quickly
Good to have:
- Prior exposure to finance, investing, accounting, or related fields through internships, part-time roles, or self-directed learning
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of data tools or programming (Python, R, Bloomberg) is a bonus
- Comfort with AI tools for research synthesis, drafting, or data organization, and familiarity with social media platforms as information sources
Candidate Background
Open to candidates from any academic background — polytechnic oruniversity, any discipline including finance, economics, business, law,mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, data science, orbeyond.
We welcome fresh graduates (Diploma or Bachelor's degree) as well ascandidates with up to two years of experience; final-year undergraduates mayalso be considered.
