Investment Analyst (Start Up and Fund Management Company)

Overview: Our client is an MAS-licensed fund management company based in Singapore.

They specialize in customized private market solutions for wealth management firms, helping partners deepen client engagement and deliver tailored investment opportunities to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of private market deals, including origination, screening, due diligence, and structuring.
• Update and maintain a high-quality database of primary and secondary private market issues.
• Build and sustain relationships with potential buyers and sellers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce key marketing materials, such as fact sheets and investment decks.
• Support the business development team in marketing direct investments to clients.
• Stay informed on the latest market trends and relevant news.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration, with 2–3 years of relevant work experience. A master’s degree in finance or business administration is a plus but not required.
• Experience in client-facing roles, stakeholder management, or consulting, particularly within the finance industry, is preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Critical thinking skills with a focus on improving and developing products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin with strong business proficiency is required due to business needs.
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in data management, processing, or analysis is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), with working knowledge of SQL and Python demonstrated through professional or academic projects.
• A collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and business units.
