Join Climate Collective Foundation to drive climate innovation through capital. We’re looking for an Investment Research Analyst to be part of a mission-driven team enabling climate-positive startups and shaping how capital flows into the climate tech space in India.

Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of basic financial models and perform detailed financial analysis
- Interpret financial statements and conduct ratio analysis to assess business performance
- Evaluate and interpret diverse business models within the Climate Tech sector, with a focus on understanding underlying revenue streams
- Conduct in-depth sectoral research to support the development of deal pipeline
- Perform data collection and secondary research to support market and company-level analysis
- Play an active role in developing investment theses across multiple sectors and sub-sectors in Climate Tech
- Effectively communicate research findings and present actionable insights and investment opportunities to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in investment research, financial analysis, investment banking, equity research or a related field.
- Strong research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Prior exposure to startups, investor ecosystems, VC/PE or climate-focused funds is a major plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to execute with quality and accuracy, in a resourceful manner
- Fluency in English, ability to deliver high-quality written work
- 1-3 years of experience in investment research, financial analysis, investment banking, equity research or a related field.
- Education:
- MBA/ MBA Finance from Tier2/3 colleges, Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or a related discipline, or CA / CFA (USA)
- MBA/ MBA Finance from Tier2/3 colleges, Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sustainability, or a related discipline, or CA / CFA (USA)
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and a general adherence towards systems & productivity tools (we use Zoho, Slack, and a few others)
- Proficiency in Tamil is preferred

Location – This is a Chennai based role and the candidate must be based there (or plan to move there if they are offered the job)
