Responsibilities

  • Conduct macro-economic, industry and fundamental research across regional markets to identify investment opportunities.
  • Analyse companies, sectors and credit fundamentals, including financial statements, cash flow and balance sheet analysis.
  • Develop financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare timely research reports, market updates and investment insights for senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers and relevant business units to support investment and client-related requirements.
  • Identify emerging sectors and asset classes with potential investment opportunities.
  • Undertake regional business travel and other ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
  • 4-6+ years of relevant experience in investment research, fixed income, credit research, banking, asset management or investment management.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed income, credit markets, macroeconomics and fundamental analysis.
  • Strong financial modelling, quantitative analysis and research capabilities.
  • Strong report-writing, presentation and communication skills.
