iOS & Android Mobile Developer — Fintech Experience Preferred
Summary
Architect and build Juuli's first iOS and Android mobile apps from the ground up, integrating with its own backend API to deliver wallet, money transfers, and card management with a strong focus on security, KYC, and sensitive financial data. Uses Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin, or cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native at an early-stage fintech.
Juuli is an AI-native, vertical finance platform for 43M+ solopreneurs across Europe. We bring wallet, money transfers, card issuing, and AI-powered tax/accounting automation together into a single business account — so solopreneurs can run their business without needing separate accounting software. Based in London and Tallinn, our 15-person team is growing 3x every month and we're operationally profitable.
We've grown this far without a mobile presence. That's about to change — and whoever takes this role gets to be the architect of Juuli's first mobile app.
What you'll do:
- Design and build Juuli's iOS and Android apps from the ground up (native or cross-platform — you'll shape the approach)
- Integrate end-to-end with our own backend API
- Bring wallet, money transfers, and card management to life as the core mobile modules
- Work meticulously on security, KYC/compliance flows, and sensitive financial data handling
- Shape product and engineering decisions directly within a small, fast-moving team
What we’re looking for:
- Strong, shipped, production experience in iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) and/or Android (Kotlin) — having built both natively, or deep experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter/React Native, is a plus
- Solid command of REST API integration, secure data storage (keychain/keystore), push notifications, and app store release processes
- Fintech, finance platform, or payments experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable with ambiguity, able to ship a lot with limited resources, strong sense of ownership
- Can match the speed and flexibility of an early-stage startup
Why Juuli:
- Small team, real ownership: no micromanagement, working directly with the CEO/CTO
