Role overview:

We are hiring for a fast-growing technology company building advanced digital identity and verification solutions used across multiple industries. Their platform enables secure, scalable, and seamless user verification, helping organizations reduce fraud while delivering a smooth customer experience.

We are looking for a senior iOS engineer to take ownership of our mobile application experience on iOS. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing high-quality mobile features, ensuring performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience.

This role requires strong expertise in native iOS development, a product mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Location: Hybrid in Cairo (3 days onsite)
Contract: Full-time or long-term contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality iOS applications using modern Apple frameworks
  • Own end-to-end feature development, from requirements to production release
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of the application
  • Optimize app performance, memory usage, and load times
  • Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Identify and resolve bugs, edge cases, and performance bottlenecks
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for mobile development
  • Ensure compliance with Apple guidelines and accessibility standards
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers where needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in iOS development
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK
  • Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture)
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows
  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools
  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with mobile security best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
