iOS Software Engineer
Summary
Native iOS engineer building and maintaining the company's social/entertainment consumer apps in Swift and Objective-C — account systems, messaging, multimedia, in-app purchases, performance optimization, crash analysis, and App Store releases.
Salary: $7,000 – $8,500 per month
About the role
Develop, iterate, and maintain native iOS applications for social and entertainment products, continuously improving product stability and user experience. Build native iOS applications using Swift and/or Objective-C, and participate in application architecture design, core module development, and technical solution implementation.
Key responsibilities
Develop key social product features, including user registration, login, and account systems; user profiles, social graphs, Like / Match and other engagement features; instant messaging, private chat, and notifications; image, audio, video, and other multimedia features; push notifications, subscriptions, in-app purchases, and payment-related features; membership, campaigns, and value-added services
Participate in the design of technical solutions for complex business scenarios and continuously improve application architecture, code quality, modularity, and engineering efficiency
Optimize application performance, including startup time, page rendering, memory usage, CPU usage, network requests, image loading, UI responsiveness, and crash rate
Diagnose and resolve production issues, analyze crashes, and continuously improve application stability, monitoring, and exception-handling mechanisms
Participate in App Store releases, version management, review issue resolution, and production maintenance
Collaborate closely with Product, UI/UX, Backend, QA, and Operations teams to translate business requirements into stable and maintainable mobile solutions
Keep up with the latest developments in iOS, Swift, and the Apple ecosystem, and evaluate and introduce new technologies where appropriate
About you
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
3–5 years of professional native iOS development experience, with experience delivering and publishing production applications
Hands-on experience with social, entertainment, dating, live streaming, messaging, community, or similar consumer-facing applications is required
Strong proficiency in Swift, with the ability to read and maintain Objective-C code
Strong knowledge of UIKit; practical experience with or solid understanding of SwiftUI is preferred
Familiar with common iOS frameworks and platform capabilities, including Foundation, UIKit / SwiftUI, GCD / Operation, URLSession, Auto Layout, Codable, Keychain, StoreKit, and Push Notifications
Good understanding of common application architectures such as MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Coordinator, with strong awareness of modular and scalable engineering practices
Familiar with HTTP / HTTPS, RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and other networking technologies. Experience with instant messaging systems is preferred
Solid understanding of the iOS application lifecycle, memory management, multithreading, RunLoop, event handling, and common performance issues
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with experience using Instruments, Xcode Organizer, crash logs, and related tools for performance and stability analysis
