Freelance/project-based IoT engineer in South Jakarta integrating Android touchscreen devices with smart locker hardware (electronic locks, controller boards, door sensors) via UART/RS232/RS485, MQTT, WebSocket, and backend APIs, plus hardware testing, monitoring, and technical documentation.
Salary: Rp 10.000.000 – Rp 15.000.000 per month
About the role
Responsible for integrating Android touchscreen devices with Smart Locker hardware, including electronic locks, controller boards, door sensors, and backend systems.
Key responsibilities
Integrate Android applications with Smart Locker hardware.
Develop device communication using UART, RS232, RS485, or other relevant protocols.
Integrate IoT devices with backend APIs, MQTT, or WebSocket.
Perform troubleshooting, hardware testing, and device monitoring.
Prepare technical documentation and support Smart Locker project implementation.
About you
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IoT, Embedded Systems, or Hardware Integration.
Proficient in serial communication protocols and hardware-software integration.
Familiar with Android-based devices, electronic locks, sensors, and controller boards.
Knowledge of REST APIs, MQTT, or WebSocket.
Ability to read technical documentation and troubleshoot hardware communication issues.
Preferred: Experience with Smart Lockers, vending machines, ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Kotlin, Java, C/C++, or Python.
