IP Counsel
You will advise product, engineering, research, and commercial teams on copyright, rights of publicity, trademarks, trade secrets, licensing, and intellectual property risks in generative AI. You will draft and negotiate licensing transactions and help build frameworks that protect and extend the company's intellectual property position.

- Advise product, engineering, research, and commercial teams on intellectual property issues
- Counsel on IP risk in model development and outputs
- Structure and negotiate licensing deals
- Build frameworks that protect and extend the company's IP position
Requirements
- JD with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar or a law degree and qualification to practice law in the U.K.
- 6+ years of experience advising on intellectual property issues
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex IP-related transactions, including licensing agreements
- Strong command of IP issues unique to generative AI companies
- Excellent business judgment, writing skills, and attention to detail
- Experience with content distribution and licensing in media, entertainment, music, or publishing
- Experience managing IP risk in a software development environment
- Law firm and in-house experience
