IS/IT Project Management
Summary
Coordinates IS/IT projects end to end, supporting planning, governance, documentation, and reporting. The person maintains schedules, RAID logs, and status reports, facilitates meetings and steering committees, tracks milestones, risks, and KPIs, using project documentation and reporting tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, and Agile are pluses).
Summary
The role is primarily focused on supporting and coordinating IS/IT projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring that effective governance, communication, planning, documentation, and reporting are upheld within the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
Support project managers, product owners, and stakeholders in project planning and coordination activities.
Ensure project governance processes and standards are applied consistently.
Maintain project schedules, milestones, action plans, and reporting documentation.
Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders.
Support project portfolio visibility through reporting and dashboard preparation.
Ensure project repositories and documentation remain accurate and up to date.
Organize project governance meetings, steering committees, project reviews, and workshops.
Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and supporting documentation.
Facilitate meetings and ensure clear capture of decisions, actions, and risks.
Maintain action logs and follow up on commitments with project contributors.
Track project milestones and ensure timely escalation of delays or risks.
Coordinate interactions between business, technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
Support project resource planning and coordination activities.
Ensure governance deliverables are produced according to project standards.
Maintain project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, RAID logs, and governance records.
Produce regular project status reports and executive summaries.
Consolidate project KPIs, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Prepare management presentations and reporting materials.
Ensure traceability of decisions and project approvals.
Support audit and compliance requirements related to project governance.
Key Requirements:
Experience in IS/IT project management.
Strong understanding of project governance principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Proficiency in project documentation and reporting tools.
Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and project teams.
Nice to Have:
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
