About the role

The IT Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, servers, and software applications. The role includes providing technical support, implementing security measures, and ensuring system reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, routers, and switches.
  • Administer Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and email systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security updates.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and software licenses.
  • Install and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT administration or technical support.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, VMware/Hyper-V, and cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
