SCL Automotive is a growing and progressive automotive group representing multiple leading automotive brands across SA, NSW and VIC. We employ over 150+ people across the multi state group.
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Administrator / IT Support professional to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day technology needs of our South Australian operations and assisting the teams interstate remotely in SA.

The Role
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the IT environment across our Australian dealerships.
This is a hands-on, multi-site role. You will work closely with dealership management and staff across the group, ensuring our teams have reliable, secure and effective technology to support their day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for:
Managing day-to-day IT support across multiple dealership locations
Providing hands-on technical support to staff and management
Managing computers, laptops, printers, phones, networks and other IT hardware and systems.
Managing user accounts, permissions, Microsoft 365 and cloud-based systems
Troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity and system issues
Managing relationships with external IT providers and technology suppliers
Supporting dealership management systems, CRM and other automotive-specific technology
Managing IT assets, licences and hardware procurement
Implementing and maintaining appropriate cybersecurity practices
Managing backups, security, access controls and disaster recovery processes
Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and productivity
Assisting with the implementation of new technology and software across the group
Providing IT support for new sites, staff and business initiatives
Ensuring IT issues are resolved quickly with minimal disruption to dealership operations
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, proactive and solutions-focused.
You don't necessarily need to come from the automotive industry, but experience supporting a multi-site business, retail environment or automotive dealership network would be highly regarded.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience in an IT support, systems administration or IT management role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and common business applications
Experience with networks, hardware, user management and troubleshooting
A strong understanding of cybersecurity and IT best practice
Excellent communication and customer service skills
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
A willingness to be hands-on and get things done
Most importantly, you will be someone who takes ownership.
